SERVPRO believes in giving back and participating in the community. Chamber of Commerce programs like their Leadership Program helps to promote community involvement by volunteering with non-profit agencies, attending city and government meetings, and developing business leaders to take a more active role in the community.
SERVPRO of Lufkin/S.Nacogdoches County is proud to have two Graduates from this program. They have both become more aware and more active in the Nacogdoches Community. This nine-month training program develops new leaders in the community. Participants learn about the driving forces and services in Nacogdoches while developing personal strengths and valuable skills.
The class meets monthly with City, Government, and Business Leaders in an effort to become more involved in the growth of Nacogdoches.
Each year the class completes a community service project. They adopt a class project from applications submitted by local non-profit agencies. This project will be a positive contribution to the community and will allow class participants a chance to apply their team-building and leadership skills while they give back to the community.
